EC revises downwards economic growth forecast for Romania

The European Commission (EC) has revised downwards its economit growth forecast for Romania, for both 2018 and 2019, according to its Summer 2018 Interim Economic Forecast. Thus, the EC expects Romania’s economy to grow by 4.1% in 2018, down from the 4.5% forecasted in the spring. Moreover, the Commission also revised its forecast for 2019, from 3.9% to 3.8%.
